Freight broker company is looking for a Sales Representative.
Summary of Responsibilities:
As a Sales Representative, you will market the company to develop, establish and maintain relationships with Carriers/Customers in the truckload marketplace by providing solutions to our customers’ transportation needs. The main focus of this role is to grow the business by focusing on Customer requirements and developing strategic Customer partnerships that will drive company success.

Working hours will vary but are usually 8 to 5.
Salary to start is 50K plus commission once fully trained plus mileage reimbursement.

- Markets services and promotes transportation services that include full-truckload and less-than-truckload shipments.
- Uses available resources to perform freight-market analysis and communicate market trends.
- Increase the book of business annually
- Maintains and grows monthly revenue, gross profit and margin goals.
- Develop creative solutions to meet our customer’s needs to provide excellent service.
- Perform data analysis on our customers available freight
- Collaborate cross-functionally as a Team to assist in managing effective customer relationships.
- Minimum preferred two-year degree from an accredited university or up to 12 months equivalent experience.
- Transportation sales experience and the ability to work flexible hours are highly desirable.
- Ability to use a CRM to manage customer contacts

- Must have the ability to deal effectively and tactfully with customers and employees and make decisions in a timely, professional manner.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, CRM packages.
