Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be personable and enjoy working with customers to help complete their sale. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding products
- Process sales transactions accurately using a Point-of-Sale system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Answer phone calls and provide information about products and services
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures
- Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall shopping experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Proficiency in handling cash transactions, and using cash registers or a POS system
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of Excel and/or Word for basic data entry tasks is a plus
- Willingness to learn about product knowledge
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
