Overview

SYNCRONYS is the state of New Mexico's Health Information Exchange (HIE) and is a local not for profit health information organization. The ideal candidate for this position has experience as part of the IT Team working with various internal and vendor teams to manage product roadmaps for development, improvement, and integration of new solutions and features over the lifecycle of its solutions.

The Account Executives is responsible for building relationships with new priority clients and connecting with key stakeholders to generate and increase sales of Health Information Exchange subscriptions. The Account Executive will conduct all stages of the sales cycle to achieve expected sales targets, taking ownership of the sales process from initial customer contact to contract execution. The role will work collaboratively with the Customer Relationship Manager to identify opportunities to promote additional solutions within existing customer accounts. The Account Executive will implement a sales strategy in collaboration with the Director of Customer Engagement, by staying current on company offerings and industry trends as it relates to SYNCRONYS strategic initiatives and priorities. This position requires weekly travel, both in town and out of town to meet in-person with customers and leads. This position is eligible for remote work under the SYNCRONYS remote work policy.

Responsibilities

  • Is the primary sales point of contact to execute new contracts with Health Information Exchange (HIE) subscribers.
  • Promote and sell subscriptions and all invoiceable solutions available by SYNCRONYS based on predetermined organizational priorities.
  • Identify, qualify and prioritize new leads based upon lead referral patterns while seeking new sales opportunities.
  • Create and execute market penetration strategy.
  • Responsible to conduct presentations and provide education on SYNCRONYS solutions and tools to prospective customers both in-person and virtually. Successfully overcome objections with sound and factual information.
  • Interact with sales leads in-person, via email and phone to provide information on products and service.
  • The Account Executive is responsible for initiating the appropriate contract with sales leads, effectively negotiating and closing contracts.
  • Responsible to communicate with the Customer Relationship Manager and other internal departments as needed the status of new contracts to initiate processes for successful onboarding and project implementation.
  • Expected to stay up to date on new customer onboarding activities to confirm client receipt of contracted products, services, and training in a timely fashion and will obtain a Service Acceptance Agreement confirming completion of contracted deliverables.
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value. • Liaise between the customer and internal team’s pre-contract to understand the feasibility of new use cases requested by new customer.
  • Responsible for updating the customer relationship management software by maintaining customer accounts with records of sales interactions.
  • Stay current with federal, state, and local reimbursement programs and emerging regulations that impact their customer base.
  • Update job knowledge through educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proven experience working with clients and customers in a business relationship with the primary focus being increased revenue and sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts and explain broad technical concepts to end users.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with proven negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment while utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients with excellent time and project management skills and a keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
  • Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps and Customer Relationship Management Software.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or in a related area, i.e. business development, marketing.
  • Familiar with the New Mexico healthcare landscape and deep digital understanding. • Preferred experience with payors and/or health systems.
  • Preferred experience with informatics, data analytics and/or healthcare information technology and EMR experience.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals to meet customer needs.
  • Preferred clinical or allied health professional background.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree (60 college credits and eight years of relevant healthcare sales experience may be substituted for a degree) in business, marketing, communications, healthcare, information services or related area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
