Job Description
We're seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our client's team in Mississauga. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and maximizing profitability within an assigned territory. Using a consultative sales approach, you will maintain regular face-to-face and/or phone interactions to ensure customer needs are met and satisfaction is achieved. This role will focus on driving sales, acquiring new clients, and expanding our market presence in Ontario.What We Offer:
- Salary: $85,000 - 95,000
- Job Type/Shift: Full-time

- New Business Development: Identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities in sectors such as chemical manufacturing, chemical distribution, oil and gas, general manufacturing, and agricultural chemicals.
- Customer Retention & Growth: Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by understanding their needs and presenting tailored solutions, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a business development strategy aimed at increasing market share, achieving sales targets, and maximizing revenue growth.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new trends, business opportunities, and emerging markets for products and services.
- Lead Generation: Proactively generate and qualify leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in regulatory compliance, packaging, or industrial sectors.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to hazardous materials, packaging, and workplace safety.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
