Wholesale Account Executive – House of Desire LA (Instagram handle is @houseofdesirela)

As a preferred wholesaler in the intimate apparel market, MRC Creations is committed to providing top-quality intimate apparel while serving our retailers. MRC Creations owns and operates several intimate apparel brands and most recently acquired the Frederick’s of Hollywood license.
MRC recently launched @houseofdesirela, and we're seeking an AE to join our ROCKSTAR sales team! A successful candidate should be persuasive, eager to connect, and results-driven. Responsibilities Include:
- Manage the sales process from beginning to end for both current and new customers.
- Develop strong working partnerships to secure and expand existing business.
- Understand the processes and policies for each account including vendor requirements.
- Liaison across internal divisions (Design, Production, Logistics, Customer Service)
- Partner with Design and Production to ensure that designs are adaptable, costs are measured, and concepts are clearly defined.
- Daily communication with Logistics to ensure that orders are properly executed.
- Create and organize ATS reports.
- Manage customer’s Purchase Orders in our ERP (SAP B1)
- Strategize how to move inventory and increase profitably.
- Perform competitor and market analysis by researching competitor’s price points, promotional campaigns, and emerging trends in colors, materials, and categories.
- Follow a timely product/sales calendar to maximize business in a forward-thinking manner.
- Develop business strategy by account that details annual growth.
- Ability to travel to customers and to trade shows.
- Developing new client relationships and nurturing existing ones.
- Strategize to find new leads and new prospects.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of experience in apparel sales; preferably with department store or national chain stores.
- Intermediate-Advanced in Retail Math - Calculating and Analyzing Gross Margin.
- Intermediate-Advanced in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Intermediate-Advanced in ERP.
- EXTREME attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and strong business acumen.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and work under deadlines.
- Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and presentation skills.
- Team player willing to perform related duties as assigned.

Starting pay $75,000
