Position Overview

We are currently seeking a meticulous and motivated Business Development Manager who will be instrumental in enhancing company revenue through the identification of lucrative business prospects and the formulation of sustainable growth strategies. The role entails proposing enhancements to operational planning, engaging in client and advisor meetings, and disseminating critical business updates to partners. Additionally, proficiency in assessing business risks via comprehensive analysis of financial, statistical, and economic data is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform ideas into actionable business opportunities by developing and executing growth plans that align with company goals and address market needs.
  • Prioritize and manage high-potential opportunities across existing and emerging markets, using structured plans to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Track and report on progress to senior leadership, ensuring visibility into outcomes and alignment with long-term objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a reliable point of contact and aligning the company’s offerings with their needs.
  • Develop partnerships with industry leaders, suppliers, and organizations to strengthen market position, coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Represent the company at industry events to broaden networks, uncover growth opportunities, and gather valuable client feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and manage project plans for business initiatives, overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables to meet objectives effectively.
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, challenges, and outcomes, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed of industry trends, customer behaviours, and competitor activities, using insights to refine business strategies.
  • Share key insights with internal teams to inform product enhancements, marketing strategies, and future business development efforts.
  • Support strategic sales initiatives by working closely with the sales team to explore new business models, partnerships, and market segments.
  • Monitor growth metrics and assess outcomes of executed strategies, providing feedback that help shape future business development strategies.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, MBA a plus.
  • 5-10 years’ sales or marketing experience.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of business development strategies, market dynamics, and industry trends; strong business acumen.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and driving business growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Enthusiastic and sincere.

Full-time permanent position

The candidate must be available from Monday to Friday 9:00AM - 5:30PM

Pay: $65,500.00-$71,500.00 per year
