Position Summary:
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving company growth. This individual will be responsible for researching industry trends, analyzing market strategies, and developing negotiation tactics. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify trendsetters and new ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
- Track individual contributors and their accomplishments to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners, discovering, and exploring new business opportunities
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts to facilitate deal-making.
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials.
- Evaluate options, resolve internal priorities, and recommend equity investments to align with company goals.
- Develop negotiation strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations.
- Examine risks and potentials, and estimate partners' needs and goals to create mutually beneficial agreements.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts.
- Ensure that all contractual obligations are integrated with business operations seamlessly.
- Uphold the company's values by maintaining confidentiality agreements between the company and employees.
- Protect sensitive information and foster a culture of trust and integrity.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction or exterior industry.

- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
