POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Sales Representative at Carisam Samuel-Meisel you will play a vital role in support of our rapid growth. The incumbent most believe in delivering quality service to fulfil customer needs. This role will be responsible for delivering agreed portfolio targets through the development of existing and new customers in accordance with our sales management guidelines. The sales representative must collaborate closely with the CCO and/or VP of Sales to oversee operations and enhance profitability. Focus on broadening the customer base, securing new business ventures, and efficiently managing existing client relationships. The incumbent is responsible for managing sales activities by performing the following duties and functions that include the following but not limited.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Assists VP Sales and/or CCO by developing strategies to increase sales Meet with the CEO once a week to discuss customer orders
- Monitor sales activity, help compile sales reports, analyze prospective traffic and generate reports
- Maintain relationships with customers from sales process through production and closing.
- Reviews of market analysis to determine customer needs and price schedules
- Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition
- Meets with clients, assisting Export Department Sales Associates with negotiating and closing deals
- Create contracts, quotes, and responses for both new and current export clients
- Maintains all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations
- Maintains export wine & spirits price list for customers
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and/or annual sales reports as requested by the CCO or VP of sales in order to provide our clients with wine, beer, and spirits options
- Interface with Customers, assist in preparation of quotes, contracts, cost change forms, etc. as directed by CCO & VP Sales
- Update the monthly export price list and distribute it to specific export clients
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Track, compile and analyze data related to results, sales objectives, budget variances and other critical data and prepare and submit periodic reports for review by sales team and sales management
- Analyze results and report on variances from plan by various categories including customer type, product line, territory or account and monitor and track performance of key accounts
- Perform Customer Service functions by entering orders, filing, calling customers, identifying orders that have been cut and, analyzing individual solutions and taking appropriate action to ensure customer needs are met, calling customers to give resolutions to problems, answering any questions that customers have, working with internal company departments and vendors, processing change order requests, requesting orders be expedited through production and shipping as required to comply with customer requirements, communicating with customers, sales, accounting, manufacturing and distribution staff to resolve outstanding issues and ensure customer satisfaction, maintaining records and related information
- Review Short Cases Reports, advise customers if any orders will be shortened and seek alternative products to fill the load and offer substitutions
- Review various product sales reports, advise customers if orders will be late and how soon the delivery will be
- Performs additional duties as assigned
SPECIAL PROJECTS · Organize and complete any special projects and/or special promotional events needed by Sales
- Extract and Print Reports from JD Edwards
- Check deliveries on Excel spreadsheet and update
- Turn in sales performer/quotes to the Customer Service Department for processing
- Enter orders into JD Edwards, review for accuracy and send orders to Customer Service for processing
- Assistance with inventory counts on a periodic basis
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalence and/or associate’s degree
- A minimum of 2-4 years of sales, logistics, freight, customer service and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish Required
- JD Edwards is a plus

· Ability to gain deep knowledge of the entire suite of company’s service offerings and utilize it to maximize sales opportunities during customer solutioning

COMPUTER SKILLS/EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
Keyboard or Computer Skills – Experience using handheld scanning devices (R F Smart)
· PC proficiency, specifically the use of desktop software such as: Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
