We are seeking a talented Medical Sales Representative to join our team, focusing specifically on selling lab supplies to hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. In this role, you will have the opportunity to represent our company and promote our high-quality lab supplies while building long-lasting relationships with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and increase market share within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and target potential clients such as hospitals, clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and research institutions, with a focus on establishing new business relationships.
  • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our lab supplies, demonstrating how they can improve workflows, enhance efficiency, and deliver accurate results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including laboratory directors, physicians, and purchasing managers, to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions to educate customers on the proper usage and best practices for our lab supplies.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management, detailing account activity and pipeline progress.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in medical technology to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to address and resolve any customer inquiries, concerns, or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Participate in trade shows, meetings, and conferences to network with potential customers and industry thought leaders, representing our company in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of successful sales experience in the healthcare industry, preferably within medical or lab supplies.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and building a strong client base.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information and influence buying decisions.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a customer-centric approach to sales.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a positive attitude and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • A good understanding of laboratory workflows, medical terminology, and the challenges faced by healthcare professionals in a laboratory setting.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory, as required (approximately 40-60% travel).
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite to accurately track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate reports.
