What we're looking for: We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, particularly in large-scale commercial projects within key verticals such as Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Education, Corporate, Institutional, and Light Industrial.
IDEAL Candidate: Have at least 5 + years of experience in the construction of large-scale commercial projects in one of our key verticals (healthcare, pharmaceutical, education, light industrial) with a GC/construction manager.
In this role, you are accountable for presenting new business opportunities to the company and expanding business relations geographically in our vertical markets.
Essential Responsibilities- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders (architectural/engineering firms, developers, brokers, etc.) to generate client leads. - Identify growth target areas and industries in Indiana and beyond. - Assist in gathering business development intelligence. - Represent Hagerman at business-related functions and participate in community/industry organizations. - Collaborate with the VP of Business Development, Marketing, and Operations to identify prospects and support existing clients. - Manage and maintain the CRM platform, logging information on leads and clients. - Support geographic expansion initiatives through travel and participation in industry events. - Contribute to project proposals and presentations: - Develop strategies based on client knowledge. - Review and critique submissions as needed. - Prepare presentation materials for business development success. - Participate in presentation teams as directed. - Create corporate presentations to update Hagerman employees on sales and marketing progress.
