General Summary:

As a Manager of Customer Operations, you will be the main liaison between key customers and the operational teams within Qualcomm. Working along side Sales, you will be looked upon to provide operational expertise and insight in contractual negotiations, Customer meetings which include Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) as well as ad-hoc critical supply escalations, supply chain environmental concerns, as well as deep understanding of Qualcomm operational capabilities in blustering support for the new markets that Qualcomm has entered. This role will work closely with a large cross functional team, including Business Unit Operations, Sourcing and Supply Chain Management, Finance, as well as Sales and Marketing.

  • S&OP- Allocation Decisions
    • Voice of the customer
    • Cross BU insight
  • S&OE Support
    • Supply/Demand alignment.
  • Operational Support for Emerging Markets (Compute/IOT/Auto)
  • QBR Management
  • BU/Sales Partnership Management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.
OR
Associate's degree and 9+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.
OR
High School Diploma or equivalent and 11+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience.

  • Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 9+ years of Sales Operations or related work experience in a high-tech product company.
  • 2+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
  • 2+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
  • 2+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.

Level of Responsibility:

  • Works independently with no supervision.
  • Provides supervision to direct reports.
  • Decision-making is critical in nature and highly impacts program, product, or project success.
  • Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey highly complex and/or detailed information. May require strong negotiation and influence with large groups or high-level constituents.
  • Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance standards for functional area within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department.
  • Has a great degree of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is making or directly making key decisions that will have substantial impact over the organization).
  • Tasks often require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; extensive planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Pay range:

$110,000.00 - $165,000.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
