Job Description

The Account Executive is a high-performing individual achieving growth targets by offering comprehensive service and installation portfolios to both new and existing clients. You will be the catalyst behind the TRL Systems brand, developing and maintaining long-term client relationships. The Account Executive is responsible for forging and growing new business opportunities by communicating with decision makers to assess their needs and determine the most appropriate plan of action for each client. You will take initiative to confidently represent the company to new, existing and prospective clients, strategically negotiating and closing deals to meet defined sales quotas.

You will assist the team by executing sales opportunity and pipeline management, new customer setup, job walks, estimating coordination with applicable department/resources, proposal drafting, bid documentation coordination, customer visits, new business development, and client relations.

Essential Functions:
  • Generate new sales opportunities through networking and relationship building
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding new customers to closing deals
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and services to new and existing customers
  • Update and maintain the company CRM to provide accurate sales forecasting to management
  • Work with the Estimating Department to create estimates and proposals for customers
Position Requirements:
  • 5+ years in Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
  • High school diploma (or equivalent),
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance
TRL Systems, Inc. conducts pre-employment drug screening in accordance with Federal Contractor regulations and background checks in accordance with State and local regulations. In addition to having many clients (hospitals, schools, etc.) who require background checks, as a federal contractor TRL is also required to complete a background check for any employee who may work on a federal contract in any capacity. For any position that drives a Company vehicle, our insurance carrier requires criteria to be met and therefore will be a condition of employment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Repetitive substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Walk, drive, bend, stoop, hear, and speak
  • Stand or sit for extended periods of time (4+ hours)
  • Drive for 2+ hours in a work shift/day
  • Work is performed on construction sites, in commercial buildings, high rise buildings, and/or hospitals.
