Currently, CES has multiple Business Development Representative Positions open in the Electric Vehicle Solutions Division within the Strategic Accounts Group. Below is a description of duties and the requirements necessary to fulfill this position.

Job Summary

The Business Development Representative role is a critical position to help with the steady growth of the EVSE Market. Within this role the candidate will be working with customers located throughout Canada. In this fast-paced position, the ideal candidate will need to be professional, well organized, able to solve problems, and be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the customer is satisfied with the services and products supplied. There will be many challenges that arise throughout the day and the candidate must be able to remain focused and positive to maintain great relationships with the customers, vendors and within the organization.

The candidate will work directly with Inside Support Team Members, Outside Sales, Contractors, End Users, and will need to coordinate with other branch employees nationwide. Each team member provides great customer service, and the ideal candidate must also be focused on ensuring customers are satisfied to ensure they return for additional business. Below is a list of responsibilities and qualifications we are looking for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement new target market initiatives.
  • Set goals and develop plans for business and revenue growth.
  • Research prospective accounts in target markets, pursue leads, and move them through the sales cycle.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge with the Electric Vehicle Charging Market.
  • Collaborate with customer design and sales teams to consult on products and ensure end customer design requirements are met
  • Develop, present, and negotiate proposals for prospective clients.
  • Attend industry conferences, conduct sales meetings, and conduct training for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide product and educational demonstrations to customers, engineers, and branches.
  • Assist with the continual improvement and delivery of strong day- to-day processes and systems for lead generation.
  • Provide marketing materials on company products and services to qualified prospects
  • Work with the management and marketing teams to assist in the follow-up activities related to specific marketing campaigns and webinars.

Qualifications:

  • Previous Energy/EV sales experience or knowledge preferred.
  • 3+ years of sales experience or electrical industry experience preferred.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to succeed with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on priorities and goal setting.
  • Strong presentation skills; comfortable giving presentations to customers, speaking at events and speaking at conferences.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments internally and to customers.
  • A desire to grow an innovative new division within CES.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
