The Opportunity
Summary
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for understanding and managing the Software Development Lifecycle and various automation tools for developing digital pipelines (CI/ CD pipelines). The incumbent works with developers and the IT team to implement DevOps practices for Development, integration, testing, Deployment and Monitoring.

Designing DevOps Strategy
- Recommend a migration and consolidation strategy for DevOps tools
- Design and implement an Agile work management approach
- Create a quality strategy
- Design a secure development process
- Create a tool integration strategy
- Implement timely cost optimization based on the usage and business case
Implementing DevOps Development Processes
- Design a version control strategy
- Integrate source control
- Manage building infrastructure
- Implement code flow
- Implement a mobile DevOps strategy
- Managing application configuration and confidentiality
Implementing Continuous Integration
- Manage code quality and security policies
- Implement a container building strategy
- Implement a building strategy
Implementing Continuous Delivery
- Design a release strategy
- Set up a release management workflow
- Implement an appropriate deployment pattern
Implementing Dependency Management
- Design a dependency management strategy
- Manage security and compliance
Implementing Application Infrastructure
- Design an infrastructure and configuration management strategy
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Manage Kubernetes Service infrastructure
- Implement infrastructure compliance and security
Implementing Continuous Feedback
- Recommend and design system feedback mechanisms
- Implement a process for routing system feedback to development teams
- Optimize feedback mechanisms
What You'll need?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in DevOps

Specialized skills, knowledge, or certifications unique to this role
- Experience in setting up DevOps end to end for at least 3-4 products
- Experience in setting DevOps practices for development, integration, testing, deployment and monitoring
- Experience working with a microservice environment
- Experience working with Azure, AWS
- Experience with databases including MqSQL and Mongo
- Knowledge of implementing technical and security control for HIPAA and PII
- Experience working with JIRA Service Desk
- Experience working with GCP
- Knowledge of following compliance standard for Payment Gateway and GDPR
- Experience in any scripting language
- Knowledge of JAVA
- Experience with in-memory database
- Experience automating the builds and deployment processes, configuring deployment environments for application software, maintaining the environments and tooling supporting them, and documenting these configurations and processes.
- Strong Linux and Windows environment management and configuration skills are necessary
- Experience performing and automating software builds
