Position: Government Sales Representative

Overview: Since 1977, Echelon Supply and Service has been a leading supplier of hoses and hose assemblies for commercial and military applications throughout the world. Echelon Supply and Service is currently seeking a professional, self-motivated individual to join our Liverpool, NY based Government Sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and evaluating Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) solicitations
• Obtaining supplier quotes and negotiating prices
• Submitting competitive, compliant, and responsive bids to secure contract awards
• Developing sources of supply
• Developing and maintaining positive vendor and customer relationships
• Achieving individual and departmental financial goals

Qualifications:

• Associates degrees and 2+ years sales experience preferred, or 4+ years demonstrated technical sales experience
• Ability to read drawings to determine key characteristics, specifications and notes
• Experience using the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite
