Business Development Manager for Columbia, SC
Job description:
The BDM is a goal-oriented, highly motivated person with strong sales ability. The BDM demonstrates an out of the box mentality and brings a desire to hunt. The ASM is responsible and held accountable for consistently increasing revenue by generating new business to the company. This is accomplished by prospecting and closing new client opportunities as well as leveraging existing relationships.
Job responsibilities include promoting the company's services, addressing or predicting client goals, keeping good and thorough records of sales, revenue, and invoices, provide after-sales support, arrange meetings with prospective clients, developing a business growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the ASM is able to train and develop entry-level employees into strong salespeople.
Salary is $55,000 - $65,000 based on experience, plus generous commission structure (paid weekly!), gas and cell phone allowance.
Job Skills:
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a similar role.
- Proven sales track record
- Proficiency in MS Office and HCM systems
- Local market knowledge
