RGE Solutions is seeking a Business Development Professional with background experience in servicing the Oil & Gas industry.
RGE Solutions is a business development and technical marketing company with clients across North America. Our business is growing rapidly, and we need skilled Business Development Representation to support and manage new client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, reporting within Salesforce and working to prepare proposal to close deals. We will rely on you to contribute in a professional team environment to conduct market research, develop a strategic business development plans and partner with our marketing department to prepare and deliver unique value proposition branding. Travel throughout Canada is likely required for this position. The salary for this position will be base salary plus commission.
Primary duties include identifying business opportunities, building and maintaining successful relationships with prospects and existing clients, collaborating with executives on business strategy to determine objectives, evaluating current business performance and maximizing business reach and potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and needs
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Partner with sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- Collaborate in a team environment to ensure contracted deliverables are executed on-time and as agreed
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree would be an asset
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce) would be an asset
- Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
- Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose value-based solutions for clients
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: $70,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
