Job Summary:


The IT Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s IT initiatives and ensuring effective communication between business and IT stakeholders. This position focuses on leading and managing IT projects, process mapping, and overseeing master data and interfaces monitoring to enhance business efficiency and continuity, data integrity, and system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from inception to completion, including authorization, planning, execution, testing, monitoring, and closing, manage project timelines and manage project risks ensuring the solution aligns with both technical and business objectives.
  • Prepare business cases, developing non-technical design and functional specifications.
  • Lead the documentation of current and future state processes, business process mapping, and modeling.
  • Develop and enforce master data governance standards, policies, and procedures to ensure consistent and secure data practices.
  • Ensure integration of master data across enterprise systems, such as ERP, EDI, and Third-party software.
  • Conduct master data audits and perform routine data quality checks to identify and address inconsistencies or errors.
  • Lead the design and development of integration workflows, data mappings, and system interfaces that enable seamless connectivity between systems, applications, and platforms.
  • Diagnose and resolve integration issues, troubleshoot errors, and implement solutions to improve data flow, efficiency, and accuracy.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to integration processes, leveraging automation and best practices to optimize system performance to ensure business continuity.
  • Serve as an EDI Representative for all business activities and knowledge for internal and external networking links.
  • Recognize and resolve, where possible, EDI related problems with communication between trading partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure that systems integrate seamlessly and meet security, compliance, and data privacy standards.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • 1+ year of experience managing Master Data such as Materials, Customers, Vendors in an ERP system, SAP S4 preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience on process modeling and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • 2+ years of experience managing an EDI Provider relationships (e.g., SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce)
  • 2+ years of experience managing integrations (e.g. SAP & SPS Commerce, SAP & Third-party software.)
  • Strong experience working with Business Owners to define, document, and manage business needs.
  • Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Office Suite of Applications - Excel, Word, Power Point).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes, identify root causes of issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Experience working in CPG preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment


Work is performed inside a temperature-controlled office building with an open floor plan. This job operates in a professional office environment with a business casual dress code. This role will routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
