RBT Registered Behavioral Technician
ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicatedRegistered Behavior Technicianin Longmont, Colorado to join one of our trusted school districts for summer and the following 2024-2025 school year. At ProCare Therapy our mission is to make life better for those who make lives better.
Responsibilities Include:
They use ABA techniques to teach skills such as communication, socialization, and self-care, and to reduce problem behaviors such as aggression and self-injury.
- Follow behavioral health plans developed by a BCBAin providing beneficial and effective care plans to students.
- Be able to support children with autism or other developmental disabilities to help them learn new skills and improve their behavior.
- Establish a positive and trusting relationship with the child by engaging in learning activities created by the schools academic plan.
- Teach specific skills required for measurable progress over time.
- Provide direct instructions to students for following protocol and classroom behavior management.
- Assist children with day-to-day tasks.
- Participate in counseling and meeting sessions with teachers, administrators, and parents.
- Observe child behaviors to monitor the childs progress throughout school year for any necessary adjustments based on their observations. Inform parents and other caregivers about behavioral intervention findings

Job Requirements
RBT Certificationisrequired
In School Experience Preferred but not required
High School Graduate or College Graduate
- Experience working with special needs children
Must be able to pass a drug and background check

Job Description
- Onsite
- 20-30hours weekly
- Caseload: Working with 1:1 Students
- Autism classroom / special need
- Working under the guide of a BCBA for collaborativesupport Communicate Effectively with Teachers, Psychologists, Families, etc.
Interview Process
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
- 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with school district Offer is typically within 24 hours of virtual interview
