Our Smart Grid Solutions Division, located in Raleigh, NC engineers award-winning Smart Metering systems and Smart Grid system solutions that help utilities improve their revenue cycle services, customer service, delivery reliability, and enable efficient energy usage by utility consumers through demand response and in home networking capabilities. Honeywell’s EnergyAxis advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system is deployed with more than 100 utilities around the world, with 4.5 million meters online in North America, Central America, Caribbean and the Pacific Rim.

Key Responsibilities

Will support engineering with style and part creation

  • Support the Style Creation process workflow while collaborating with the Sales/Offering Management as well as Engineering teams.
  • Gather information and requests from Sales Teams and Engineering Team.
  • Input data into SAP and Honeywell systems (Smartsheet, WinGKS, WinECN).
  • Filter requests from Teams, to be sure needed and not an extra step being done
  • Data entry and communicating with Teams as well as deciphering what needs to be completed.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Familiarity with SAP, TeamCenter, and other relevant systems (Smartsheet, WinGKS, WinECN)
  • Knowledge of the Style Creation process and its importance in product development
  • Proficiency in data entry and working with various systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

WE VALUE

  • Experience in a similar support role, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Experience with electricity metering products and battery-powered devices, low power designs and AMR/AMI systems is preferred
  • Support cross functional product development team delivering new products to high volume production that meet all performance, schedule and cost requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
