Job Summary
The qualified candidate will work as a member of the mobile software quality engineering team at Imprivata. The team develops innovative native Android and iOS applications that are part of Imprivata’s broader integrated HealthCare solutions. We need someone who loves building world-class applications and desires to make an impact on our organization and on solving real-world problems. This position is located at the Imprivata office in Waltham, MA.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Accountable for testing all aspects of mobile solutions, including but not limited to iOS/Android applications, Windows/Mac desktop applications and Server/Cloud backend.
- Maintain and support lab equipment such as PCs, mobile phones and hub/dock stations.
- Work with local and remote team members to test and deliver quality software.
- Qualify new hardware support.
- Check and ensure the health of our testbed/testing environment, such as Hardware and MDM.
- Collaborate with automation team members to improve and update test cases.
- Help reproduce customer issues and support customer escalations.
- Other duties as assigned and required.
Required Qualifications
- Enthusiastic about technology, passionate about both quality assurance and continuous improvement, and dedicate to improved user experiences.
- Self-motivated with high learning capability and a demonstrated ability to work autonomously.
- Bachelor’s or master's degree in EE/CS/IT or equivalent engineering field.
- Experience with Hardware/Software testing and exposure to iOS/Android/Windows/MacOS/Linux environments.
- Basic understanding of software development and testing methodology.
- Familiar with concepts and practices of Agile, Scrum and Kanban.
- Basic knowledge of Cloud and AWS.
- Working knowledge of commonly used tools such as Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Office products.
