Sales and Marketing - Business Development Specialist

Who we are?

We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to help us with Sales and Marketing tasks to help bring the company to the next level. An industrial marketing or account manager with success in a similar type industry would be a great asset.

A key focus will be working towards brand awareness and product education, especially with our dealer base. Engaging dealer representatives to make sure they are comfortable with our product and promoting our product. Finding new dealers is also key in territories that are currently under served.

What will you do?

Inside Sales

· Assist with managing existing distributor base. Call and email dealer reps. Engage the reps on a weekly basis in rotation.

-Follow up with existing customer base

··Work with distributors marketing contacts to improve online product awareness

· Send out E blasts monthly to a qualified CRM database. Some follow up or cold calling may be required

· Find and develop new distributors

· Continually build our CRM pipeline

· Occasionally research State and Federal EV grants availability

Outside Sales

Some US or Canadian travel may be required to engage dealer base or help with trade shows as required.

Marketing
· Maintain, improve, and execute our marketing plan. Create market comparisons as needed. Understand our offering against others in the market place and effectively communicate those benefits.

-Creative thinking and planning as to best ways to continue getting to market

-Occasionally assist with LinkedIn account with fresh social posts

· Assist in developing monthly Informative Email blasts to customers/dealers

· Assist with marketing content creation as needed

· Assist with or exhibit at trade shows

Knowledge & Skills
· People oriented, positive attitude, team player.

-Relationship builder.

· Strong organizational skills

· Creative Thinking

· Ability to work well independently and within a team

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

· Familiarity with MS Office

-Familiarity with social platforms

· Some mechanical knowledge is an asset

· College degree an asset

Full time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
