About us
ESS Engineering is a highly experienced telecommunication engineering company that has been providing full service outside plant engineering and design services since 2005. Past major contracts consisted of projects with top 500 NYSE companies, such as AT&T, MCI Metro/Verizon, Florida Power and Light (FPL), and MASTEC. ESS specializes in designing projects placing fiber cables, PFP cabinet enclosures, conduit, and associated infrastructure.: Additional services consist of Building Industry Consultant (BIC) engineering, Pole Analysis engineering, and Permit procurements. Our major geographical areas of coverage are Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.


We are seeking a person who is dynamic and highly motivated in Business Development :that will lead the business development and accounts by securing contracts for engineering services. to bring new business in the wireline telecommunications market. We have two-plus decades of experience with the top providers — and we are looking for the person who will take this role to build on this record of success.

REQUIREMENTS::
  • Must have a proven history of success selling engineering to telecommunications companies, particularly outside of the top 5 largest US telecom companies. The position will report directly to the CEO.
  • Able to seek out leads and build a relationship with other businesses
  • Able to secure contracts
  • Knows Telecom engineering

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE::
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering or business.
  • A minimum of 5 years selling engineering services to wireline telecom carriers:.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in the wireline provider space.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to dialogue KPIs reports to internal team members and upper management.
  • Ability to present KPI reports.
Results Expectations :
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share in the wireline telecom market and secure contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ESS Engineering’s solution and product offerings and our corporate strategy, business objectives, and vision.
  • Define go-to-market priorities and targets for our products and solutions for wireline telecoms, informed by market fit and based on revenue potential, product readiness, the offering’s strategic importance, and targeted growth strategies in existing and new accounts.
  • Partner with Marketing to establish clear, compelling messaging and positioning for our industry solutions that differentiate them and exploit ESS Engineering’s advantages.
  • Develop sales strategy, including yearly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Attend key industry conferences.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including strategic alliances with wireline Providers.
