Group Manager - Cost Engineering
- Lead a highly skilled team in cost analysis, estimates and savings.
- Support engineering to optimize design by proposing ideas regarding manufacturability, materials, cost and features (design to cost).
- Build a strong local and global network, as well as suppliers, to understand production processes, gather business needs and advise on technology market data.
- Participate in negotiations between Purchasing and suppliers by providing expertise on cost drivers and process optimization.
- Support critical cost engineering for local project activities.
- Implement continuous improvements for cost engineering tools, technology and skills.
- maintain relationships to gain insight in production and tolling technology and design.
- Perform cost analyses for piece cost and vendor tooling investments for teardowns of competitors’ trucks.
- Ensure that the cost objectives are up to date and matching the latest technical solution.
- Represent Controlling and Strategy in relevant stakeholder committees.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance or a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- 8-12+ years of related experience
- 5+ years of experience directly related to cost engineering
- Knowledge of our supplier base production technologies and competitor supplier base production technologies
