Job Description

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to attract new clients and increase revenue from untapped markets. This individual will own a sales goal for themselves and for the team they manage, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop, implement, and manage strategic sales plans focused on acquiring new clients and achieving revenue growth from net new business opportunities in line with Alinco IT's core values and customer-first approach. Identify target markets and develop strategies to penetrate verticals such as manufacturing, aerospace, and small-to-medium-sized businesses (SMBs) that have not yet engaged with Alinco IT. Set, monitor, and achieve individual and team sales targets specifically for net new customer acquisition by leveraging Alinco IT's unique selling points: affordability, reliability, and attentive customer service. 2. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Generate and qualify leads through direct outreach, networking, and leveraging existing relationships within the Southern California business community. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new clients, understanding their unique challenges and presenting tailored solutions from Alinco IT's offerings, including cloud services, cybersecurity, networking, and procurement. Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations, and close deals that drive net new business growth and ensure customer satisfaction. 3. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a small team of sales representatives, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous learning. Set and manage team sales goals, ensuring alignment with company objectives and providing strategic guidance and support to achieve them. Organize regular training sessions on Alinco IT's services and solutions to ensure the team is well-equipped to address client needs and close deals effectively. Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, refine strategies, and celebrate successes. 4. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Collaborate with the technical and professional services teams to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal customer experience for newly acquired clients. Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns and initiatives, maximizing lead generation and brand awareness targeted at new prospects. Provide feedback from clients and market insights to drive continuous improvement in service offerings and business strategies. 5. Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies. Analyze data to identify opportunities for expansion and growth in untapped markets, and adjust sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the IT services market. 6. Reporting and Performance Management: Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to senior management, ensuring clear visibility into individual and team sales performance and pipeline health. Utilize CRM and sales management tools to monitor sales activities, manage client interactions, and ensure efficient sales processes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 2 years in a sales management role within the IT services industry. Strong understanding of cloud solutions, cybersecurity, networking, professional services, and procurement. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets, both individually and for a team, with a focus on acquiring new business. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with CRM software and sales management tools. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
