For success, the Assistant Director must have:
- A 4 year degree or Graduating by May 2024 (Business Administration, Management, or Marketing Degree Preferred)
- 1 – 2 years of management, customer service, sales or education preferred
- Experience with marketing or willing to learn

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES BUT LIMITED TO:
Summary: The Assistant Director reports to the Center Director, and is responsible for meeting revenue, operations, and marketing goals at the Center.
AD is in charge of make-ups, data entry, and scheduling ICs.
AD is also in charge of making sure that the teaching floor runs smoothly by managing the part-time teaching staff. Depending on workload, the Assistant Director also teaches most of the time that students are in the center.
MANAGE
Assist in achieving Center goals.
Manage all aspects of Exam Prep Services, including supervision of program prescription, initial program, program revision, instruction, and student progress.
STAFFING
Hire, train, manage, motivate, and evaluate part-time staff, including part-time teachers.
Conduct teacher meetings.
OPERATIONS
- Offer students the best education possible. Adhere to the Huntington Code of Ethics and the Brand Standards Manual.
- Supervise instruction: Insure effectiveness, accuracy, thoroughness, and competency of all instruction. Teach each student during his first session.
- Instruct students.
- Review student sign-in sheets, attendance, absence, make ups, etc. and schedule make-ups.
- Schedule ICs.
- Perform financial activities: Develop, review, and mail statements. Collect and deposit payments. Manage returned checks and refunds. Collect overdue tuition and fees.
- Perform administrative activities: Answer phone, maintain appointment book, input data, file, mail material, and maintain answering machine. Maintain inventory; submit list of needed items to CD for approval and processing.
- Maintain Center appearance, including the waiting room, offices, instruction areas, and bathroom, as well as the halls and other spaces outside the Center.
- Monitor, program, and reprogram student instructional programs. Maintain Student Permanent Folders and Student Instructional Binders. Review each student's instructional program at least once per month.
- Perform educational administrative tasks: Administer, correct, and write up AEs, ITs, Initial Conferences, and ICs.
- Create and maintain student and teacher schedules. Anticipate teacher needs. Minimize teacher and clerical payroll cost by optimizing student-teacher ratios.
- Perform payroll functions, including maintenance of Daily Time Sheets, calculation of payroll hours, and submission of payroll to the CD for approval.
