Position overview
As Sales Representative you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with current customers, and expanding and adding relationships with new customers, developing a dealer network and developing programs within the dealer network to expand revenue. You will be responsible for calling on customers, answering inquiries, conducting product presentations and negotiating contracts.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proven track record in sales of trailer parts to large national and regional customers, sales of trailer parts through a dealer network, and a passion for exceeding targets.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting and lead generation
- Identify and research potential clients in the designated territory.
- Generate new leads through networking, cold calling and other proactive methods
- Call on and visit leads proactively
Sales presentations
- Conduct compelling product presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our offerings
- Address client concerns and objections effectively.
Sales Strategy and planning
- Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and key account management.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyze performance data, and implement improvements as needed.
Customer Relationship Management
- Establish, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Forecasting and reporting
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular reports to the executive team
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of sales activities and results
- Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure a cohesive approach to business objectives
- Provide input into product development and marketing strategies based on market feedback
Sales Negotiation
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, ensuring a win-win outcome for both the client and the company
Dealer network development
- Develop a strategic plan including territory assignments, MAP pricing, and dealer incentive plans to grow sales through a dealer network.
Marketing
- Coordinate with the Director of marketing to strategically invest in various marketing platforms to support the overall goals of the company and the overall commercial strategy.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the trailer parts industry selling to OEM accounts, through dealers and National accounts.
- Strong leadership and track record of building and developing relationship and sales growth.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices, with focus on achieving revenue targets.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field is a plus.

Pay: $50,192.00 - $78,672.00 per year
