Volta, Inc. is currently seeking a Sales Support Specialist who is passionate about providing exceptional support to our sales team and enhancing customer relationships. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in generating quotes, invoices, and processing POs for our customers, distributors, and vendors. You will also interface with pre-sales engineering and other internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of our solutions, as well as participate in marketing events, activities, and campaigns to promote our brand and generate leads.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key success factors:

  • Review, acknowledge, accept requests and/or identify any questions within 30 minutes of receipt from customers, sales-reps, distribution, or pre-sales engineering.
  • Request pricing with in two (2) business hours of receiving all information.
  • Complete quotes within four (4) business hours, pending pricing conversation with sales rep.
  • Acknowledge all customer requests within one (1) business hour of request and time-bound engagement with resources within two (2) business hours. Update original requestor (customer/rep) if any resolution cannot be met within four (4) business hours.
  • Complete and submit RFP and RFB development by the requested due date – no exceptions.
  • Generate 100% of renewal quotes within the agreed timeframe or 60 days whichever is greater.
  • Maintain an annual review with each assigned sales executive to review current processes and effective communication of renewals, bids, quotes, and customer requests.
  • Always identify and report any required changes to the internal sales and order processes to the respective departments needing change or updates.
  • Present two (2) ideas for improvement of sales, operations, customer experience, and/or marketing per quarter.
  • Execute any assigned marketing events, activities, or campaigns on time and on budget.

To qualify for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of product knowledge and operations experience preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and quoting tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a customer-centric mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Compensation package:

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
