Job Description
Duties:
The essential job function of an Account Manager is to sell and service new and existing customers as assigned and closed.
New Customers:
Prospecting new customers
Networking and marketing company to gain potential prospects
Preparing and presenting proposals to prospective customers
Processing all necessary paperwork for new customer account set up
Coordinate and participate in new customer account start up
Meet and or exceed assigned business development goals
Existing Customers:
Manage ongoing needs of assigned customer base
Process orders for customers
Ensure proper product procedures are being followed by customer employees
Continually monitor customer needs and suggest products, services and equipment to meet their needs
Provide customer service and conflict resolution for assigned customer base
Coordinate product changes/updates for assigned customer base
Provide emergency product delivery to assigned customer base
Other duties as assigned by supervision and management
Job Requirements:

Professional demeanor
Ability to learn multiple product lines
Basic basic street knowledge (or the ability to learn) of all geographic areas serviced
Clean driving record, background check as required
Suitable transportation for sales and service of assigned customer base and new customer prospecting
Participation in trade shows, networking events, product knowledge training
Occasional overnight travel for training (minimal annually)
