We are a full logistics solutions leader in the industry and we are seeking a driven, dynamic and experienced Account Executive based out of our offices in Mississauga.

Your proven track record as a results oriented, self motivated professional, with your ability to apply your experience to new business development and existing customer development will be key to your success at Lodestar Freight Solutions Inc.

Career Description

  • Liaise with customers and carriers and process requests
  • Coordinate transportation for inbound and outbound orders
  • Complete Client Billing on a scheduled basis
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of a variety of daily tracing and ensure proper communication and distribution to customer and carriers is adhered to
  • Confirm inbound and outbound order accuracy and investigate any discrepancies
  • Involvement in updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
  • Work with Sales team to ensure that orders are booked and communication to all departments
  • Maintain a target 100% customer order accuracy goal and ensure customer deadlines/expectations are met
  • Strive to Achieve a 100% coverage on Customers Logistics Solutions.
  • Order entry into dispatch system on a daily basis
  • Assisting others in the Operations team to provide solutions to any transportation issues
  • Assisting the Operational team in sourcing freight and brokering loads

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 year experience in Operations/Dispatch within a Freight Broker
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Ability to Multitask that works well under pressure
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Excellent organization skills, Planning, Coordinating
  • Strong aptitude for learning new systems
  • Transportation Industry Experience is mandatory
