Job Description

Job Summary:

The Business Developer/Home Care Manager is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities, developing relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and community organizations, and driving revenue for the homecare business. The role involves strategic planning, networking, and partnership-building to expand the client base and foster strong referral sources for in-home healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
  • Serves as the point of contact for clients, caregivers and case managers.
  • Matches appropriate caregivers to clients based on personality, availability and skill set.
  • Ensures all required forms and processes in the home are being followed.
  • Handle/Resolve caregiver issues.
  • Works closely with accounting department to ensure that hours and pay rates are correct for payroll and billing rates are appropriate for invoicing.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate home care staff, including caregivers and nurses, ensuring that they meet performance standards and follow best practices.
  • Ensure the home care program complies with all relevant state and federal regulations, including licensing requirements and health and safety standards.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure cost-effective care delivery, including tracking expenses and managing service costs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the company's customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Raise awareness about the company’s homecare services and generate leads.
  • Work closely to meet or exceed sales targets by securing new business and expanding existing accounts.

Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
  • Proven work experience in homecare, business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Previous homecare managing experience is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time.
Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
Experience:
  • Home Care Management: 1 year (required).
  • Business development: 1 year (required).
Willingness to travel:
  • 25% (preferred).
Work Location: In person.
