Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated sales professional to grow with us. The Commercial Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for offering the benefits of Mantis Pest Solutions’ highly rated services to both internal and external leads and customers. While a significant part of the role will require work from an office, this position is also an active in-field role which includes meeting in-person with customers, providing on-site inspections, and creating detailed quotes. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, customer focused, and an effective communicator with experience selling in the pest control industry.
Responsibilities of Commercial Pest Control Sales Representative
- Become an expert on company and industry terms, trends, and offerings
- Respond to customer inquiries in-person and over the phone
- Drive company growth through appropriate practices including outbound lead generation
- Leverage technology and digital tools to improve existing and potential customer experiences
- Assist with the development of new sales plans and initiatives
- Provide feedback and insights to improve company processes
- Collaborate with team members respectfully
- Attend team and office meetings
- Other assignments and responsibilities as necessary
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with productivity software such as Google Workspace
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to make sales phone calls
- Driven to create and close new prospects
- Results driven with strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with negotiation techniques and customer service practices
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
Optional
- Degree in Sales, Communications, or Marketing
Compensation
- Base: $40k - $50k
- Commission: $15k - $25k
- Total Compensation: $55k - $75k
*Compensation will be based on the experience of the candidate.
