Role Overview: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at StorageDefender, you will play a key role in driving sales growth by identifying and qualifying leads. The SDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with prospects, and scheduling meetings for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Use various methods, including outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach, to identify and qualify leads.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with prospects, understanding their storage needs and providing relevant information about StorageDefender's products and services.
- CRM Management: Keep accurate records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams to transition qualified leads to the sales team for further development.
- Follow-Up: Conduct regular follow-up with leads to maintain their interest.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to effectively position StorageDefender's offerings.
- Targets and Goals: Meet or exceed individual and team targets for lead generation and prospecting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completed or In Progress Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Sales or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
- Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
- Team Player: Enjoys collaboration and teamwork.
