Job Description

A Civil Solutions (CS) Construction Operator performs heavy equipment operation in addition to physical labor while assisting with heavy construction duties at job sites in and around the Cincinnati, OH area. We are looking for Entry Level to skilled labor.

KEY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operates Various Equipment on a construction job site
Perform physical labor work as assigned at the job site.
Unload and carrie materials at job sites.
Use rakes, shovels and small power tools at job sites.
Clean up on jobsites to include break areas, restrooms, trash, sweeping and mopping.
Grass mowing, weed eating, blowing, laying sod, planting, spraying weed killer, trimming, etc.
Flagging traffic.
Perform various other jobsite duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience on a construction jobsites is a plus.
Experience in operating heavy equipment

Demonstrates ability and willingness to learn.
Must be self-motivated and work productively.
Have physical strength, endurance and work well with your hands.
Have a good attitude and ability to follow instructions and safety rules is important.
Adheres to all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, including but not limited to the safety manual, and the employee handbook.
Must be able to maintain acceptable attendance standards per employee handbook.
Ability to use email, smart phone, tablet or computer to manage company information and documents.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposure to extreme temperatures in the field-hot and cold.
May be exposed to chemicals, refuse and dirt in trucks, as well as, landfill, industrial and civil, power plant site locations.
Loud noise levels
Other risks associated with working around heavy machines, tools and trucks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: $25 - $35 per hour
