CBS Parts Ltd. is a privately held growing and dynamic company serving the trucking industry in the province of BC. We are BC’s leading supplier of first fit and replacement components to the transportation, logging, mining, construction, refuse, transit, coach, emergency and automotive industries. Our central distribution warehouse located in Surrey British Columbia currently serves six branches located strategically around the province.
CBS Parts represents the major aftermarket manufacturers of wheels, rims, axels, clutches and filters and components for brakes, driveline, and suspension, exhaust and lighting systems. Our product line is constantly changing as the market dictates and opportunities arise.
We require one Inside Sales Representative for our main distribution office in Surrey (Port Kells).
Job Description:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, responsibilities will include a variety of branch operational functions such as customer sales and support, customer relations, backed up with a solid knowledge of the trucking, trailer and tanker market. This position requires dynamic ambitious individuals with excellent communication skills, are good team players and have the desire and drive to assist with increasing branch revenue and profitability.
Key responsibilities and duties:
1. Assist customers in identifying requested parts and supplies and suggesting options or alternatives when appropriate
2. Purchase product from suppliers and competitors for non-stocked items in an effort to maintain a high level of customer service and support
3. Prepare and generate customer invoices and handle cash, debit and credit card transactions
4. Identify and liaise with sales and purchasing staff on new products and brands that may warrant carrying in inventory
5. Follow up with customers on back orders or any other pertinent issues
6. Process warranty claims and part and core returns from customers
Required skills:
1. Must have automotive or HD part sales experience
2. Mechanical aptitude with relevant experience in parts distribution or vehicle repair
3. Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
4. High attention to detail
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
Shift times:
Tuesday to Friday 9:30am to 6pm and Saturday 8am to 4pm
Salary:
$46,000 – $75,000 (based on experience and your success with CBS Parts Ltd).
