Location: Various Locations (Field-Based) South East PA/NJ

Job Description:

As a Solar Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our mission to expand solar energy adoption. Your role involves direct, door-to-door outreach, leveraging networking opportunities, and building a strong referral base to educate homeowners about the benefits of solar energy and how our solutions can meet their needs. You will play a key role in generating new sales opportunities and driving the company’s growth through effective customer engagement and relationship building.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door visits to introduce homeowners to our solar products and services, generating interest and leads.
  • Utilize networking strategies to identify and engage potential customers within the community, including attending local events, joining community groups, and leveraging social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a robust referral program, encouraging satisfied customers to refer friends and family.
  • Perform in-home consultations to assess customers’ energy needs, explain the benefits of solar energy solutions, and customize proposals based on their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and government incentives related to solar energy to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets while contributing to overall company sales objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure a positive customer experience and build long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to share best practices, improve sales strategies, and support company-wide goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in door-to-door, networking, or referral-based roles. Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Strong understanding of how to leverage yourself on Social Media Platforms
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Access to reliable transportation, as this role requires frequent local travel.
  • A passion for sustainability and renewable energy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
