JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive – Managed Services, Public Sector is responsible for supporting the Company’s growth initiatives, specifically focused on selling Managed IT and Managed Security solutions to public sector organizations. This individual will drive net new sales to both existing public sector accounts and net new accounts within this critical market segment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Understands and communicates the Brite Managed Services (BriteStar and BriteProtect) Value Proposition to a variety of public sector clients and internal contacts.
- Works with existing Account Representatives to leverage the relationship with current public sector accounts and identify upsell opportunities.
- Grows revenue in existing public sector accounts through Net New Technology/ Services, as well as Project Work.
- Responsible for net new business activities as such cold outreach, event attendance and networking.
- Manages Renewals and Customer Retention of Managed Services for public sector accounts.
- Manages Customer Referral Program.
- QBR Management – Coordinate with Strategic Technical Consultants and owns all sales functions/outputs of QBR.
- Works with Network Operations Center (NOC) and Security Operations Center (SOC) on refreshes and other projects.
- Coordinates and drives public sector focus groups.
- Leads internal Major Account Reviews.
- Works with Internal CRM (NetSuite) and other systems for sales process and management including documenting and updating as required.
OTHER DUTIES
- Accomplishes all other duties and tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years of documented sales experience, including experience selling hardware/software solutions to the public sector or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job is required.
- Prior IT sales experience in the public sector is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.

- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and NetSuite (CRM), or similar CRM tools.

Pay Range: $70,000 – $85,000 Base (+Commission) – based on experience.
