Role description
As a Cross Product Sales & Development (CPSD) Vice President, you’ll be selling authorised NatWest Markets products to authorised and approved clients. We’ll look to you to identify, understand, and match client needs with relevant approved products, tailored client solutions or engagement with or introduction to relevant centres of excellence and knowledge across NatWest Markets and the wider bank.
Responsibilities
Implementing client focus throughout business strategy, communications and client engagement
Responsible for high quality sales coverage, including trade execution and MI gathering
Work with Rates trading and Client Services to develop best in class solutions to meet client needs
Drive communication between the US and London based Rates sales, trading and client service teams
Promoting the use of analytics and smart tools with an exceptional knowledge of the product set and NatWest Markets e-offering
Pushing the CPSD agenda, focusing on the creation and implementation of technology solutions for clients
Supporting the broader coverage organisation in promoting appropriate use of automation with clients
Role Requirements:
Knowledge of the fixed income product set, along with experience of dealing with clients on an execution level.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and counterparts and senior client relationships, including Real Money and Hedge Fund Portfolio Managers
Broad understanding of macro-economics
Ability to understand and manage core risks of sales processes
Strong interpersonal skills
Client and solutions experience with relevant client types
Proven understanding of the regulatory environment affecting the Fixed Income business
Excellent understanding of current electronic trading platforms and also ongoing developments in this area
Experience creating efficiencies and improvements in our tools and processes
Outstanding team work and communication skills
Role Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in Sales with expertise in US Rates and derivative products
University Degree
Ability to organize tasks and responsibilities as directed by management
FINRA Series 7, 63 licenses
The expected base annual salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation. The exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location.
