Motivated, Tech-Savvy, and Personable Customer Service Superstar Needed!

This position is the face and voice of the company that will handle both in-person and online customer service needs. You will play a major role in telling our unique brand story to more people.

We handcraft real beef jerky right in the heart of Los Angeles. Our brand is built on legacy, heritage, and tradition. We like to call ourselves “the oldest jerky company you’ve never heard of.”

We bring the old school to the new school.

Our jerky is handcrafted in a family tradition that spans four generations and 95+ years in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. A tradition built on quality ingredients and a handmade process that delivers a better-quality, better-tasting, better-for-you jerky. This is not dusty gas station junk food. This is not a trendy snack concocted for product benefits instead of flavor. This is real food, made by real people. Small batch, artisan-quality beef jerky delivered direct to the consumer’s door. You don’t have to love the product you sell, but it most certainly helps, and our jerky is one you can get behind.

Core Responsibilities

  • Customer Service - serves as the initial point of contact for all customer requests and questions submitted online via email or over the phone; solves customer issues/ questions in a professional, and friendly manner
  • Front of House Sales – greets walk-in customers and helps them find their favorite jerky; process transactions efficiently; create positive, in-person customer experience
  • Reporting - manages data entry for all customer issues providing trends and insights to larger team.
  • Returns – processes and organizes customer returns
  • Brand Advocate – has an enthusiastic understanding of our customers, product, brand, and marketing efforts that results in increased customer satisfaction and revenue growth
  • Marketing - support efforts and initiatives of the marketing team to bring campaigns to life

Requirements

  • 100% in-office position
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong Understanding of G Suite (Gmail, Google Calendar, Sheets, Docs)
  • Experience working for an e-commerce brand and the associated tools (Shopify, Zendesk, Yotpo)

Details:

  • Permanent, Full Time
  • Hourly Range: $22-$24/hr
  • Hours: M-F, 6AM – 2:30PM
  • Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision Benefits, Paid Time Off, All Major Holidays Paid, 401k Retirement with Matching, Bonus Opportunities, Discounts on Beef Jerky

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
