UDT is a technology enabler that helps clients in major industries evaluate, architect, provide, secure, and manage technology on the go, in the rack and in the cloud. UDT provides technical, professional, cyber security and managed services. This is a full-time remote position and may require some travel.

Our UDT team is looking for an achievement-driven Account Executive with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building to contribute to UDT’s growth. This role’s primary focus is to acquire and build a customer portfolio mainly focusing on recurring revenue business. A successful Account Executive will understand the customer challenges and map solutions to our portfolio of offers that can help the customer be successful addressing those challenges. It is important to be able to create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline supporting the quarterly achievement of sales quota.

Requirements/ Duties

  • Quota achievement in assigned territory to ensure revenue and gross margin growth year over year
  • Generate new leads and identify business opportunities for technology products, services and solutions.
  • Position requires prospecting activities that may include cold calling, introductory prospecting emails and other sales activities.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of UDT’s solution offerings.
  • Establish, maintain and cultivate client partnerships to identify needs and maximize new business opportunities while proposing innovative ways to “Accomplish More”.
  • Responsible for the management of the full sales cycle.
  • Through outbound and acquisition activities, build and establish short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunities.
  • Negotiate with peers, partners and customers using a win/win philosophy.
  • Promote the sale of vendor/manufacturer products and UDT’s offers.
  • Integrate innovative sales strategies into proposals and customer presentations.
  • Deliver winning presentations to prospects and customers at all levels within an organization. Presentations will address product uses, benefits, competitive advantages and facilitate technical resources.
  • Report sales activity in company’s CRM software including pipeline results or statuses.
  • Accurately forecast revenue 30/60/90 days out. • Handle escalations and participate directly in complex sales situations to negotiate and/or resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years sales experience in technology products, services and solutions
  • Ability to create and execute a territory sales plan and/or sales plays with an acquisition mind set.
  • Understand the competitive landscape to develop win-based proposals and pricing.
  • Knowledge of solution selling and creating value for business clients • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic, honest, driven and self-motivated attitude
  • Ability to work individually and in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required.
  • Must have the ability to influence individuals to obtain maximum results.
