About The Position

We are currently looking for a best-in-class, disciplined Director of Sales with SaaS experience and solid business-to-business sales and account management experience. In this position, you'll oversee an Account Executive team and the Account Specialists that support them in prospecting across our product portfolio. We currently have 2 platform offerings that solve a variety of needs for our industry and are looking for someone to lead these teams and deploy tactics from both Sales-led and Product-led playbooks that add acceleration in the pipelines for these solutions. This position comes with support from a dedicated Sales Engineer to assist on technical demos and other needs in the sales cycle, and a Sales Operations Analyst, who is assisting on process support, analytics, and funnel activity.



Responsibilities include (but are not necessarily limited to):


As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. Reporting directly to the VP of Growth & Strategy, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing the sales and business development teams, and forecasting and achieving our sales objectives. More specifically, you will:

  • Lead and manage the business development and sales teams, fostering a culture of best-in-class, team first, and consistent business and goal achievement through feedback and iteration.
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and sales team pairs.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales programs by developing email, phone, and in-person sales action plans
  • Leveraging your deep understanding of our ICPS, platforms, and networks in order to be a problem solver and think creatively for go-to-market and sales opportunities
  • Understand our product suite in depth and create internal coaching protocols for teams
  • Leverage tools like Gong, Hubspot, and others to support coaching opportunities and performance manage teams
  • Understand the metal industry landscapes and trends, reporting on the forces that may shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of sales efforts.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring fit with our products
  • Deploy your test and learn mindset to experiment with sales approaches, negotiation techniques, and closing strategies.
  • Actively participate in contract negotiations and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Work with your Sales Ops Analyst on weekly and monthly reporting and readouts to ensure transparency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop lead generation plans, go-to-market strategies with new features and capabilities, and be an advocate for the sales team when marketing materials are needed.
