With more than 30 employees and projects ranging from single sign installations to hundreds of signs at a single location, we are actively looking to expand by hiring effective and passionate sales representatives. Position Summary: We are looking for a Sales Representative that has experience and ability to develop relationships and provide a consultative role. The ideal candidate will achieve maximum sales profitability and growth. Candidate will be able to provide self-generated leads as well as work Company provided leads.

Requirements:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and other prospecting behaviors.
  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.
  • Demonstrates knowledge on industry products and services to existing/potential customers and assists in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Ability to negotiate terms and pricing while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts email, telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers.
  • Prepares sales contracts for orders obtained and submits orders for processing.
  • Conducts follow-up customer visits to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and assists in customers’ employee training to operate and maintain new equipment when necessary.
  • Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel.
  • Participates in company-sponsored weekly meetings to review sales performance, sales goals, and profitability.
  • Maintains customer records using automated systems.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Solid organizational skills; able to multi-task and complete requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Resourceful; can devise creative solutions to problems.
  • CRM experience and knowledge with systems similar to QuickBooks.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Ability to travel for local and regional customers. Possible overnight travel for networking and tradeshows will be required.
  • Experience in construction, signage, or architectural material sales.
  • Proven sales success of over 500K in annual business to business sales.
  • Must possess superior problem solving, analytical, negotiation and communications skills.
  • 2-5+ years of Sales experience is preferred.
