Position Compensation Range:
$60,000.00 - $99,000.00Pay Rate Type:
SalaryCompensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Primary Accountabilities
- Prospects, screens, and appoints new independent agents.
- Maintains an agency prospect list by state and updates it at least quarterly.
- Periodically reviews online sources for new prospective agents (competitor websites, online yellow & white pages, association memberships, etc.)
- Performs sales calls to independent agents via telephone to showcase product features and benefits and drive quotes and sales.
- Act as a trusted advisor by providing expert guidance, resolving queries, and addressing concerns promptly.
- Provides necessary training related to company products and system enhancements.
- Assists with developing and implementing departmental and regional agency sales initiatives and state-specific strategies.
- Produces various reports related to specific territories/agents and their profitability and loss. Manage other reports as requested by management.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Travels within territory 2-4x per year with field representative
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Must pass bilingual assessments in reading, understanding, writing, and conversing fluently in both Spanish and English.
- Experience with Microsoft Office required; intermediate Word & Excel skills a must. Knowledge of the company’s systems and products helpful. Also, ability to learn product & underwriting guidelines and technology interface.
- Position requires the ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) and basic statistics.
- Ability to collect, compile and organize facts, figures and/or other information in accordance with agency sales guidelines.
- Ability to use innovative thought to develop ideas, which have a positive effect on existing methods, services or products.
- Position requires the ability to provide oral and written communication regarding independent agent/territory issues to various departments and levels of management.
