As a insurance sales representative you will build and develop client relationships within local communities to promote our products. We will support you as you grow and learn within our agency. As your client base grows, your earning potential does as well through a combination of guaranteed base salary and earned commission.
This position is eligible for the Farmers Protege' Program.
Salary: $36000.00 - $75000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
- Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
- Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
- Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of new products.
- Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
- Generating insurance quotes.
- Educate clients on the insurance policies that best suit their needs
Requirements
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Create relationships from a cold start.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- A Property & Casualty license is preferred but will train good individual.
- Career minded vision.
- Strong work ethic and leadership skills.
- Be equipped with great listening and closing skills.
- Interested in a sales career, sales experience preferred
- No insurance experience required but must be willing to learn
