We are seeking a technology-savvy and driven individual to join our team as Education Technology Account Executive. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to revolutionize classrooms by introducing innovative educational technology solutions to teachers and students.

Summary:

S3 Technologies is seeking a full-time EdTech Account Executive for our office in Akron, OH. This position will be onsite and the general hours are Monday-Friday, 8a.m. - 4:30p.m.

The EdTech Account Executive role will involve identifying and cultivating relationships with educational institutions, understanding their unique needs, and presenting tailored solutions to drive adoption and revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target key decision-makers within schools, districts, colleges, and universities to build and nurture relationships.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets within the education sector.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our education technology solutions.
  • Understand the challenges and pain points faced by educators and recommend appropriate technology solutions to address their needs.
  • Lead, guide, and assist EdTech Coaches in sales solutions and technical troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to generate leads, create sales collateral, and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Perform walk-throughs, create quotes, and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close sales and achieve revenue objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to the sales leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • Prior Education experience or proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the education or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the education landscape, including K-12 schools, higher education institutions, and educational trends.
  • Technology fluent or have a high aptitude to pick up technology concepts quickly
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and drive to achieve results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with CRM software preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
