Selling cars or mobile plans, is NOT the sales experience we are looking for. Although, we don’t doubt that you are likely really good at it!

What We Need
You will only be considered if you have the proven ability to:

  • Service existing accounts, obtains orders and establish new accounts calling on existing or potential sales opportunities and other trade factors
  • Estimate/quote prices, warranties, delivery dates and prepare sales proposals, process orders and make delivery arrangements
  • Confidently build and maintain business relationships
  • Mitigate customer issues, concerns and provide solutions to management to improve processes or customer service based on concerns expressed by customer
  • Enhance sales team accomplishments and competence by supporting solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; mentor team members
  • Resolve customer concerns by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports and making recommendations to management
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Engage with customers to learn what products and services they need so we can provide improved service and product lines to the customer. Meet with manufacturer’s and supplier’s sales representatives to discuss and keep current on product lines

What You’ll Bring
Not to sound redundant, but you will only be considered if you:

  • Have a minimum 5 years of selling experience
  • Are able to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, as well as engineered wall, floor and roof truss layouts.
  • Knowledge of building supply industry
  • Have excellent spoken and written communication skills and are able to confidently and effectively present proposals to customers, trades and designers.
  • Work well under pressure and mitigate unexpected situations calmly and effectively
  • Current class 5 drivers license and personal vehicle (will have to be able to do site visits). Don’t worry, we know the price of gas is outrageous so we will pay your mileage!
  • Intermediate computer skills
