Purpose
Under direct supervision of the Chief Operations Officer, the Business Development/Outside Sales team member is expected to discover and pursue new sales prospects, nurture current relationships, and understand what the Dardini Difference means.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Sell transportation services to customers with diverse logistical needs (LTL, FTL)
· Grow your business through generating sales leads, soliciting new accounts and increasing services to current customers.
· Develop and manage customers relationships while answering questions and resolving any issues.
· Maintain and update the company CRM system with client details, sales activities, and action items.
· Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee industry leading customer service on every shipment.
· Attend monthly sales meetings, generate and submit sales reports to management.
· Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and engage with existing customers.
Qualifications
· Prior experience selling transportation and logistics, in produce a plus.
· Strong customer service and business development skills: able to establish rapport with others in a courteous and professional manner.
· Excellent communication.
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
· Able to work as a team player and to work independently to achieve results.
· Ambitious and highly motivated
· Sales professional who can reach and exceed goals.
· Able to remain resilient in a competitive environment.
· Understands the importance of self-motivation, time management, and organization.
· Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
· Able to cold call while staying assertive and positive.

Position has a high base pay and commission and bonus pay structure as well.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
