Job Description
SGH Logistics, is a rapidly growing asset based logistics company is currently in search of a Logistics Sales Representative with an existing book of business to join our team. As an asset based logistics company, that was selected as one of the fastest growing companies by Globe and Mail, our ongoing challenge is establishing new customers while servicing our established ones.
Must have skills and traits we are looking for:
· Book of existing business / customers
· Computer literate and able to learn quickly
· Detail oriented and able to prioritize
· Efficient on the phones
· Fluent English (written & verbal)
· Able to work under pressure
· Strong Negotiation skills
· Excel in a fast-paced work environment
· Customer service
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Organized with the ability to meet tight deadlines under stress
· Ability to multitask efficiently
Daily tasks as a Logistics Sales Representative:
· Cold calling
· Quoting / Pricing (Calling our pool of carriers and obtaining rates for customers)
· Booking freight with sub-contractors (tracing will be managed by our in-house team)
· Contacting existing accounts for freight / business
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
