Position: Business Analyst (Executive Support)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly driven and versatile Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the management team across various functions, including strategy, operations, growth initiatives, HR, finance, and marketing. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a keen interest in marketing, social media, and process development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the management team on strategy development and execution across all business areas.

- Analyze and improve operational processes, creating policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.

- Support growth initiatives by conducting market research, assisting in business planning, and identifying opportunities for expansion.

- Contribute to HR functions, including recruitment processes and employee engagement initiatives.

- Work on financial reporting and budgeting, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

- Develop and manage marketing and social media strategies to boost brand visibility and engagement.

- Act as a flexible team player who can juggle multiple projects, balancing strategic tasks with hands-on, day-to-day operational needs.

- Continuously develop skills through courses and on-the-job learning, demonstrating a willingness to grow and adapt.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.

- 1-3 years of professional experience, demonstrating high potential and a proactive approach to challenges.

- Highly proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically while managing operational tasks.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working effectively across all levels of the organization.

- Proven ability to develop and implement processes and policies.

- High level of drive, adaptability, and a willingness to learn quickly.

- Interest and skills in website, marketing and social media.

- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is primarily on-site in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast for four days a week, with one day of remote work flexibility. Candidates are responsible for their own accommodation and travel arrangements.

Compensation:

-Hourly Wage:

$23–$26 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sechelt, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
