Join our team as a Business Analyst, Inventory Allocation! This role will leverage analytical skills to review future product inventory needs in line with our product strategy. As a crucial part of inventory management, you will apply forecasting models, analyze consumption patterns, and account for seasonal variations to ensure that our inventory aligns with performance trends.
This role is based out of Madison, WI corporate office and is eligible to participate in the company's Hybrid work program; working in the office 3 days and eligible to work remotely 2 days.
Below you will find a few (but not all) of the main responsibilities:
- Manage warehouse inventory targets, performance against targets, and contribute to action plans to ensure process success and sustainability
- Partner with sales, marketing, and product teams to determine precise inventory requirements and establish effective replenishment strategies.
- Regularly prepare detailed inventory reports and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Highlight critical metrics such as stock levels, turnover rates, and order accuracy. Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide actionable recommendations for process enhancements and cost reductions.
- Partner with the Category Planner to prioritize allocation of inventory across retail accounts and distribution centers to guarantee customer orders are shipped on time and in full.
- Develop initial forecasts to ensure detailed item-level coverages for accounts.
- Provide analytics to minimize and monitor inventory aging, excess and obsolescence.

Education & Experience
- Must be authorize to work in the United States
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Planning or related field or equivalent years of experience
- 1-2 years of supply chain management or inventory management experience
- Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software (SAP, Power BI, SAS, etc.)
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Extensive experience and proficiency in BI & Excel tools and functionality
- Creative problem solver with the ability to prioritize initiatives and anticipate business needs
